Inexplicably, my wife and I caught about half an episode of Glee the other night. Who knows if they can sing? Virtually every note was auto-tuned (computer filtered to be on pitch). My wife picked up on it, too.

Last night, however, I caught about a 1/2 hour of a recent Elvis Costello concert. At 56, he was fantastic... without computers. Perfect? No. Fantastic? Si.

On the advice of two good friends (one woman, one straight man, just for the record), I tried watching 'Glee'.

I'm REALLY liking it. It's funny. And most of the songs are fun to listen to.

I've never read or seen the Lord of the Rings.

I own all three books, and all three DVD's. I've watched the first hour of FR about four or five times, but never beyond that.
