Blend for Cary Grant from Kramer’s of Hollywood. It should be noted that I’m no sexier after smoking it.

I have a 1/2 pint jar crammed full of the bulk SG BBF in my cellar for almost two years and wonder what time may be doing to it.

You may want to start smoking it.

I’ve cracked two or three year old tins. Not certain, because I didn’t know for certain how long it had been at the dealer before I got it.

BBF starts out fairly mellow, without a lot of citrus or high notes; consequently, I didn’t notice as much change over that time as I have with some other Virginias.

It does need to be opened and allowed to sit for a while before smoking.
It may be the most consistently thick and moist flake of any I’ve smoked.

I rub it out fairly well. A lot of people cut it into cubes. I’ve done that, but I like it better rubbed.
At the moment, I’d call it my favorite tobacco.

Great tobacco. It’s got a certain unique... funk to it. It’s the only VA that Mrs Gabriel politely requested that I smoke outside. :) love it or hate I guess. It was my garage smoke for a while.

Oh, BBF. I alternate between bulk purchases of it and OGS. They're he two most consistently satisfying tobaccos available at my local, as different as they are. My most recent purchase was the golden sliced.

Eleven 50g tins of McClelland Aurora. A fantastic Virginia tobacco I might not ever learned about if it were not for Canadian Rusty

Smoking Pipes still had McCl No. 2015 bulk Virginia Perique Flake in stock so I ordered another pound. Recently bought 2 pounds but with this shortage scare I figured better to have extra, as I smoke it fairly regularly.

Ordered a sleeve of C&D Sam's Blend and added a tin of their Founding Fathers because it sounded interesting. I don't think I've found the right pipe for it so it hasn't necessarily "sung" for me yet, but I have high hopes.
