Just arrived. A big 'ol 1 pound bag of McClelland 2015 Virginia Perique Flake and a 500 gram box of Gawith Hoggarth, & Co, Scotch Flake. I've got enough empty 1/2 pint Kerr jars. Somehow I'll squeeze all this into my hall closet cellar.

For those who may have never seen one of these GH flakes. They are enormous and thick. The Scotch Flake is an all Virginia flake whereas their Brown Flake (which is also very good) has some Burley. And that gorgeous broken 2015 flake, A lot of good smokes in that there bag.....

Nice looking flakes.
Love the Stanwell.

It's customer appreciation week at P&C.
OGS, Escudo, Balkan Sasieni and Erinmore are 25% off.

I just ordered 3 more tins of Escudo.

Now, why couldn't they have done that combined with that 48 hour $25 and over free shipping the other weekend?

I kind of like the Escudo, but it doesn't hold a candle, in my opinion, to the McClellend VaPers.

One pound of Scotty's Trout Stream, from Pipes & Cigars. It's a fabulous butterscotch aromatic. Can hardly wait for it, as I've sampled it and loved it.

They were back ordered on it for some time.

1 tun of Nat Sherman 536( which I suspect is one of the Stokkebye English blends with Cavendish and Burley), a pouch of Villiger Jamaican Export just to try out, and a pouch of Half & Half. All purchased at Fayette Cigar Store in downtown Lexington, Kentucky. Pretty good B&M if you are ever in town.

Yes. Reviews caught my attention and I'm always interested in trying a new blend from McClelland.

I read in one review on TR.com, it is along the lines of Frog Morton On The Town. I have had a 3.5 ounce tin of OTT in my cellar for 18 months. Just too many other blends I enjoy to open it yet.

I took advantage of the 20% off and ordered "Russ' Monthly Blend - Log Cabin" and Cornell & Diehl "Snug Harbor"
total of 10 oz I have not tried these before but they sounded like something I would like.

As a novice Comoy fan I should have, but no I have not.

On another note, my tobacco arrived yesterday and I had a bowl last night of the Snug Harbor. It is a very nice smoke, English with a rum backing...not really strong enough to be a topping if you know what I mean. I think I am glad I got 8 oz of it.

Not really a purchase but. I had dropped off some pipes in March to have them cleaned. Due to some issues he was having he wasn't able to get them back to me until yesterday. To make up for it, he threw in 2 older Kaywoodies and a tin of 2011 Christmas Cheer.
