I don't know that a pirate flag has ever been flown in the Tobacco Hut.
I don't think it has. Do you think he would listen?
Stick around and we'll find out.

And I'd suggest you remain silent.

I think this was predictable. It's a dynamic system and if some topics, that are usually argued over, are banned other topics will be substituted for arguing.

Well, arguing about politics effectively replaced arguing theology so it's a surprise to no one when they started that up again but tobacco? Next jocose will start telling everyone that their pipe is ugly and they are smoking it incorrectly.

I decided to start with No. 8 and work my way around to the others in the series. The No. 8 tin had been sitting on the shelf for some time, dated 2015.

BTW this year is the 40th Anniversary of the five Oriental mixtures (green label) and the five Matured Virginias (brown label). These 10 were the "go to market" initial product offering of McClelland Tobacco in 1977 at startup. They were packaged in 4 oz. soup tins with the paper wrapping and wax seal that is today on the Anniversary mixture. This is why the Anniversary mixture is the way it is and is packaged the way it is. The Anniversary mixture was first intro'd at the 25th Anniversary. It's really nice. So add that one to the bunch as well. I gather the Anniversary mixture is in a new release with gold wax this year.

Thanks Rusty...I am going to look for it. I like the Anniversary mixture I have sampled in the past...back when we had a pipe club here.
