My friend lived in Minneapolis for 3 years and he said a large portion of the population leaves when winter comes. He used to say he wanted to leave everytime he had to walk to the train and the wind would cut right through 3 or 4 layers of clothes and freeze him to the bone. Brrrrrrr.

Do humans hibernate? It seems like a pretty effective survival strategy to me. Fatten yourself up on Thanksgiving then go to bed under several layers of blankets and not get up until April rolls around. It might get a little stinky but it would be worth it.

I've always wished I could hibernate. I like to think about how awesome the first cup of coffee would be.

i don't mind the rain. It's the whole not seeing the sun for four months that really gets you down. It's very gray.
