I could live with that.

Maybe in a few years.
i don't mind the rain. It's the whole not seeing the sun for four months that really gets you down. It's very gray.
The largest town to me, Youngstown, Ohio, has the most cloudy days per year of any major city in the United States. So I'm pretty sure I wouldn't mind Seattle. I wasn't kidding when I said I'd probably be there in a few years.

It is frigid, windy and dark outside. I am glad that I am inside posting on my computer :)

17F here but it's windy so it feels like 0 F.

Now I want you all to stay calm... There are reports that the cold in Florida can damage pipes. Don't believe me?
State Emergency Management Director David Halstead urged residents to "prepare for a long period of freezing temperatures each morning that could harm vegetation, pipes, animals and people.''
http://www.miamiherald.com/2010/12/06/1 ... -cold.html

This is the best part:
The culprit: a Canadian high pressure system. The system pushed a blast of winter weather through the Southeast on Monday, leaving strawberry growers trying to salvage their delicate blooms and schools in North Carolina closed because of snow.

Oui! It's me. Well, me and the rest of the organization to freeze Florida silly. It's working well, don't you think? It's all for a good cause. There are snowbird canucks in Florida that appreciate a little cold. Now if we could just get it to snow.... in Miami.

Just in case you're worried... THE COLD WON'T HARM YOUR PIPES.
The next thing they'll be claiming is that it harms oranges. Pfft.

Isn't it still dark at 6:30am everywhere? and yes, we've got your blowing snow to go with it. Good times.

Bit more snow today, went down to the coast, got some fish and chips and ate them in the car overlooking the beach, it snowed a bit last night, the beach was covered in snow as well.

Uh uh. This sort of display reminds me of some nyah nyah comments from Florida. It would have to get unseasonably warm for us as consequence of pushing an arctic high back over the pole so that it slopped down across Okinawa. Hmmm.... And I think the folks that have their hopes pinned on global warming would probably freak. Still...

It's 10 F right now. That has a distinctly crisp feel. But the pipe still works fine.

From what I understand, it has snowed three times in Okinawa. In recorded history. Which, for this culture, is about the time writing was invented.
