Absolutely false.

The US went nowhere.

(Now, whether particular American astronauts went to the moon is an entirely other question...)
And what is good, Phaedrus, and what is not good? Need we ask anyone to tell us these things?

This is what I love about the USA. Not only is it the only nation ever capable of putting men on the moon... it's the only nation capable of spending $25 billion (in the 1960s) on the accomplishment and then doubting it ever happened.

False. Most of the US stayed home and watched TV.

Depends on whether you wear a tinfoil hat or not. Also, it depends on your definition of "Moon" since the tinfoil hat gang thinks it's impossible for man to leave this planet at all, apparently. Also, the Earth is flat, Atlantis was a UFO, and the US Government is The Evil Empire.
