Hahahahahahahahaaa, please tell me this is fiction. If not, I'm glad I went Othodox.
Its real. Or at least they think it is. About once a decade I get on a conspiracy kick, but generally don't believe most of what I read.
Hmm.. OK.
I have a good friend who's a conspiracy theorist. Unfortunately he lives a very unhealthy life full of fear and worry. He actually quit his job and lives "off the grid" for the last 8 years in an outbuilding only bartering for food and other needs because he fears so many different conspiracies. He's lost everything he had, home, job, health insurance, vehicles, etc.
He has been warning me of stuff that has never happened "yet" I'm not one to preach but if I had any advice I'd say just be careful what you feed your mind with.

Well, lost all I had 4 years ago following another book, the Bible. I erroneously thought doing the right thing would be bring blessings, but it brought nothing but heartache.

Well friend, I can relate. I've suffered almost unbearable heartache these last several years myself. I'm not looking for sympathy or whining, we all suffer. It's not the fault of the bible, that's for certain.

A day before Armstrong and Aldrin walked on the Moon, John Fairfax became the first man to row across the Atlantic. Just thought you should know. In their message of congratulations, the Apollo crew said this:
"Yours, however, was the accomplishment of one resourceful individual, while ours depended upon the help of thousands of dedicated workers in the United States and all over the world. As fellow explorers, we salute you on this great occasion."

I expect Pres. Trump to announce, sooner or later, once and for all, whether the US did indeed land on the moon in 1969 or not. He may even set the record straight and tell us who really shot JFK also. There's plenty more secrets I'm sure. He'll tell us.
As thus we sat in darkness
Each one busy with his prayers,
"We are lost!" the captain shouted,
As he staggered down the stairs.

O love the Lord, all ye His saints: for the Lord preserveth the faithful. Psalm 31:23

What do you mean "or not"?

The man is a pathological liar and absolute dunderhead. If he insisted it was true, half the country would suddenly become moon landing deniers.

I heard once that NASA actually hired Stanley Kubrik to film create footage of a moon landing in order to provoke the Russians. Kubrik agreed, but being such a stickler for details, he insisted on filming on location.
In theory, theory and practice are the same. In practice, they are not.
