Twinning's Darjeeling Black Tea, with a small dollop of milk.
As thus we sat in darkness
Each one busy with his prayers,
"We are lost!" the captain shouted,
As he staggered down the stairs.

O love the Lord, all ye His saints: for the Lord preserveth the faithful. Psalm 31:23

This post belongs in the what are you drinking thread, but I can't locate it. Regardless, I'm slowly sipping on Bigelow Peach Herbal Tea, with a few shakes of NDCC added, which actually didn't dissolve, but sort-of curdled and is floating on the surface.

Wellsley Farms (BJ's) House Blend; Syphon brewed

This, I assume, is supposed to be a clone of Starbucks House Blend. Though it falls within the general ballpark — inasmuch as it is a medium-dark roast of rather clean Centrals — it seems markedly sweeter as well as to be lacking the frangible edges, precise cocoa tones and penetratingly dry finish of its ostensible namesake. Though it seems less elegant, it may be more ingratiating for those who find Starbucks' too shrill. All in all, though not remarkable, not bad either. But not exactly a "clone".

If all it takes is a humble, little french-press to make one "fancy", what would using a syphon brewer (a vac pot) say? 8O

I am drinking Twinings Earl Grey Extra Bold, which is a new tea from this company that is supposed to be more bold than other iterations of Earl Grey, extra bold, even. It doesn't seem any more bold than any other Earl Grey blends I've had. It, perhaps, has slightly more bergamot oil. Perfectly nice tea, all the same.
