I'm thinking either pancakes or biscuits, gluten free. But if the grandkids just make smoothies, then I'm making oatmeal with toast for my wife and I.

Breakfast last Friday in Louisiana ...

Brunch yesterday morning, or what was left of it ...
Turtle soup for starters:

Followed by eggs benedict and eggs something-or-other:

The brunch was fun, but the Louisiana diner breakfast tasted much better.

Frozen $0.99 breakfast burrito from Smith's supermarket, the eggs in it were the consistency of toothpaste. Ahhh, just like my dear, old Mexican grandmother used to make.

English dept. served a buffet breakfast for majors and faculty in our dept. office this morning--arranged and choreographed by our above and beyond administrative assistant, Dawn.

Scrambled eggs, sausage, home fries, green chile sauce and salsa. Orange juice and coffee.
We do this twice each term, during mid-terms and finals week.

Seems to bond our faculty and majors with each other and make everyone happy during a time of academic stress.
I had students with plates of food in my office, chatting, all morning. Loved it.

That sounds great :)
