I enjoyed this story. For whatever reason it reminded me of a story I heard a few years ago about a man who was killed while working with an unexploded shell. The shell was found on a battlefield from the War of Northern Aggression.

That was great. I'd heard of this before, but... the man is right at the end, about hope. That candy parachute gave him hope that he would one day be free, but the whole story gives me renewed hope for mankind. People can be just awful, but then, they can be surprisingly great.

Will Ferrell's Old Milwaukee Beer Commercial
Will Ferrell, who played Frank the Tank in "Old School," has started to appear in commercials for Old Milwaukee beer, playing a down home country boy who goes fishing with his hands and plays with an accent that is a fun mix of his George W. Bush and Ron Burgundy.

The kicker? He's doing it for free. He even approached the Pabst Brewing Company himself and offered to do it.
