Chatsworth church builds submarine for vacation bible school
Church representatives also explained to us that it runs through an electric motor and batteries and isn't exactly powered by nuclear energy.

"We do have a nuclear reactor - a small nuclear reactor that can power the batteries," said Chris Ray, Pastor at Mount Pisgah. "It's not on there right now - but it can be."

Regardless of its energy source, the church's deacons say - it helps bring the congregation and community closer. The submarine has been to a dozen vacation bible schools across three counties so far.

LOL! That's rich. They may indeed have built a model reactor as a school project but having fuel is another matter altogether. Also from the picture they appear to be missing a coolant circulation system and a generator. The reactor is the equivalent of a stove element for a kettle, which is missing. The US NRC shows no listing for a nuclear reactor belonging to a church in Chatsworth Georgia.

Since there is no Redemption in the News thread:
Mel Gibson’s ‘Hacksaw Ridge’ Gets a 10-Minute Standing Ovation
Twenty years after “Braveheart” won five Academy Awards, including Best Picture and Best Director, Mel Gibson is back in the awards-season spotlight with “Hacksaw Ridge.”

Say what you will about the guy, he knows how to make a movie. Plus, at an estimated 55 million production cost, I'd bet this will translate into some serious bank for Mr. Gibson et al.

"Shin Godzilla" Extends North American Reign Through October 27
Shin Godzilla has been a success as far as limited theatrical engagements are concerned, grossing more than $1.5million since its October 11 debut. As a result, Funimation announced plans to extend Godzilla's theatrical outing in North America, starting with the addition of a special Saturday matinee screening in over 200 theaters on October 22.

On top of that, multiple national theater chains will be screening Shin Godzilla daily through October 27. You can find out more details on these screenings and the Saturday matinee over at [url=http://www.funimationfilms.com/movie/shingodzilla/the official website[/url].

Here's what Funimation President and CEO Gen Fukunaga had to say about it:

“We’re thrilled with the tremendous response to ‘SHIN GODZILLA’ from the press, audiences and our theatrical partners … Fans have been asking and we’re pleased to confirm that the movie will extend its run with this Saturday’s matinee as well as more than a week of daily screening.”
