American Pastoral

Unexpectedly good movie. It really highlights the consequences of political extremism on families and society as a whole even though it's not really a wholely political movie.

Haven't been watching movies lately. I've been enjoying watching, on Netflicks, the Star Trek sequel Voyager series, which I had never watched on TV. It is quite something that Voyager was filmed for 7 years.

Really, really good movie. My brother in law who used to fly wounded back from Iraq made us watch this movie.

Jiminy Glick in Lalawood.

I love Martin Short. The movie is only a 1 1/2 or two star movie but it has its moments.

Amazing documentary on HBO, Mommy Dead and Dearest, about a deranged mother who kept her daughter sick and put her through hell until the daughter's equally deranged boyfriend murdered the mother.

My wife read about it and wanted to see it, so we watched it. From this description I know it sounds like garbage, but it was a gripping documentary.

Hmmm....saw that one on Amazon Prime and dismissed it. I'll have to give it a watch.

Star Wars - The Empire Strikes Back.

Until 3 days ago, I had not watched a Star Wars movie in its entirety. So my wife decided we needed to fix that and we're going to watch them all in preparation for the new one that is about to come out.
