Oh for Pete's sake, Wosbald! This "scientist" has been concocting all sorts of stories for years. It helps the pay checks come in. He doesn't have a lot support in the scientific community when he comes up with his grandeos statements though.

I know it was. Christians love to remind themselves that they are being singled out and that a dark spiritual battle is being waged behind the scenes.

The same story is published every year on a different site. No one took him seriously the first time, let alone the second, third, or fourth.

Evidence of Pre-Columbus Trade Found in Alaska House
The Rising Whale discoveries include two bronze artifacts, one of which may have originally been used as a buckle or fastener. It has a piece of leather on it thatradiocarbondates to around A.D. 600 (more tests will take place in the future). The other bronze artifact may have been used as a whistle.

Bronze-working had not been developed at this time in Alaska, so archaeologists think the artifacts would have been manufactured in China, Korea or Yakutia, and made their way to Alaska through trade routes.

Also inside that house, researchers found the remains of obsidian artifacts, which have a chemical signature that indicates the obsidian is from the Anadyr River valley in Russia.

Oldest complete copy of Ten Commandments goes on display in Israel
The world’s oldest complete copy of the Ten Commandments is going on rare display at Israel’s leading museum in an exhibit tracing civilization’s most pivotal moments.

The 2,000-year-old Dead Sea Scroll, from a collection of the world’s most ancient biblical manuscripts discovered near the Dead Sea east of Jerusalem, has never before been publicly displayed in Israel and has only been shown in brief exhibits abroad, said Pnina Shor of the Israel Antiquities Authority.

The manuscript is so brittle that it will only be on display at the Israel Museum in Jerusalem for two weeks before it is returned to a secure, pitch-black, climate-controlled storage facility at the museum. …

My son is back in Israel for a month to continue digging at the Lachish site with Yosef Garfinkel of the Hebrew University. He'll return home at the end of the month. This trip would not have been possible without grants from the Biblical Archaeology Society and the university from which he graduated two months ago. He just doesn't earn nearly enough at the cultural resource management company for which he works. Those two institutions covered about half his costs. Maybe more.
