The smell of leather. The smell of new tires. The smell of warm AeroShell.
Rustic gardens.
Being in the mountains. Walking on a beach collecting shells, sea glass or drift wood.
Rafting down a river in an inner tube. Being among friends on friday evenings on a patio.
Playing Backgammon with my sister on Sunday afternoons. The Latin Mass.
Visiting an Art Gallery or Museum on a rainy day. Going out on the town with my bride. Watching my kids grow up(though painful at times.)
The company of a good dog. Horses. Working on old cars. Taking a good photograph and making an even better print with film and chemicals
Camping, especially sleeping under the stars. :D

A good close shave.

Even better when your bride says, "You smell good."

Hugging your wife while she is doing the dishes.

Putting on a shirt, directly from the dryer.

Drinking a glass of wine in front of the fireplace on a cool fall evening while wearing sweatpants and slippers while watching the tube. I don't care if that sounds ghey. That's what I'm doing now and I like it.

Going for a long walk on an autumn afternoon, then enjoying a good beer and conversation at a friendly tavern.
Making a sandwich with fried bologna fried over a camp fire, then having it for lunch somewhere down the trail, preferably on the bank of a small, fierce creek.
Enjoying fruit from your garden, immediately after picking.
Repairing something so small and insignificant it makes more sense to toss and buy a new one, but you didn't!
The sound of the engine running after you've done some work on the family car.
Making an old piece of beat up furniture look great after you've refinished it.
Watching horses run on a windy day.
Sitting on dock in the bay, watching the tide roll away.
Laughter, coming from your children.
Watching egrets doing their "thing."
Feeling and lIstening to old hand tools that once belonged to your grand dad, or uncle who's passed on. Does this make any sense?
