So, my plan to sneak in that fact after bringing my post-reading up-to-date was a waste of time.

Happy Birthday, PnP.

And imagine a Professor Jones "Junior!" in there, too...

Drinking:
- second glass of water today (minimum of four to go; growing old sucks, weightwatchers sucks (now, won't be complaining in a few weeks))
- last of a 2005 Casillero del Diablo Merlot (Chile) (Not bad, not overly dry, a little light on the tanins for a Merlot, but definitely drinkable)
- about to pour a pepsi (need caffeine!)
- later today - tip a pumpkin ale (if any are left) or a Sam Adam's special something-or-other to PnP's b-day

Don't I know it. My wife tries to get me to drink 8 glasses of water a day (keeps my blood pressure up--which for me is a good thing 'cause I tend to keel over when I stand up too quickly). She just doesn't get it when I say I accomplish that with my coffee, diet cokes, and wine. All are have HUGE components of water.

Right now am drinking a nice black cup of coffee. No pipe because I'm inside (too cold out there!).

Silly me, I had a Guinness left over from December - consider yourself toasted, Jeremiah!

An organic tea from Bangladesh, sent by my brother and sister in law who are working in South Asia for an 'NGO'.

Sludge would be an improvement over this rusty tap water.

I like good columbian coffee with Vermont Maple baccy in the morning....light and unoffensive. It allows me to welcome the day in proper manner. And I like Bookers (Single Barrel Bourbon) or Laphroaig (Single Malt Scotch) with a full english or balkan for those late nights when wifey is sleeping and I am left to ponder the complexity of life.
Our whole life is startlingly moral. There is never an instant's truce between virtue and vice. Goodness is the only investment that never fails. H.D. Thoreau
