Strong Earl Gray, with a dollop of milk.
As thus we sat in darkness
Each one busy with his prayers,
"We are lost!" the captain shouted,
As he staggered down the stairs.

What are some favorite beverages consumed while enjoying my pipe?

For evening happy hour, in this heat spell, Gin Tonic, with a twist of lime.

I never thought tea would be the rebel drink, but here you are, killing it. Good job.

I bought a bottle of Sky River sweet mead today. It's chilling in the fridge.

Earl Grey, with lemon and local honey, and Makers Mark.

Costco Kirkland Signature Blended Scotch on the rocks. This is a decent Scotch for the price. $18 for a 1.75 liter bottle.

A wee nip of JD before a late-night, FaceTime, first-semester college statistics tutoring session.

With this student, I'll wager on "during" as well.

Finished the JD on the FaceTime call. Now I'm sipping what's left of my wife's wine and trying not to laugh too hard. The little princess getting tutored waited until the last night before her final - even though we could've done this earlier - to finish her on-line study packet and the charger on her new computer went belly up. She was at 4% when we hung up and there's not another computer in the house she can use. My, my, was a lesson learned tonight.
