I would go with the Tacoma that looks like it has been maintained the the best of the bunch. The Tacoma's of the 90's were bullet proof

This isn't my car but I would like to carve off the chrome M/C and clear valve covers.
I'll pass on the gay looking wing bolts.

Ok, that is pretty cool.

Texas A&M used to have a cow in its vet school that had a glass plate in its side. You could see its valves, too.

I spent yesterday and this morning with HockeyBoy tinkering on his '01 F150. We installed some cool LED fog lights, fixed a stereo speaker, and tweaked a bunch of other little stuff that's comes with driving an old truck. Had a blast.

I wish I could figure out how to make a living hanging out with my grandkids.

It may not make a living, but that's how you make a life.

Rumen fistula. We used to torture a similar cow. Something unnerving about opening it up and pulling out a bundle of alfalfa hay on a string while she calmly watched that was abit worldly. I got the distinct impression that she had memento mori on her mind.

Distributors/magnetos have always fascinated me. They're a marvel of an electro-mechanical device that lasts literally millions of cycles. When you add in advance systems they're a wonderful mix of cams, and gears, and springs, and mechanical switches, and electrical conductors and insulators, and weights, and tubes, and wires.

I'm still coming to grips with the fact that having an '01 qualifies as "driving an old truck."
