And, it's over. A great series comes to an end.
Since I don't have TV I've been watching it on NetFlicks. It's a decent show

Cool. There's nothing I really watch except sports and that's but occasional. But I still have a basement full of tvs somehow. That's why I was curious--not that it's unusual somebody doesn't watch tv, but it seems almost impossible not to own or have inherited one, even if it's just coated in dust.

Why must we steal the stage from Longmire, who made such a magnificent show?

Well I have watched this thread because I like the show. I watched the first seasons and then it went to Netflix and we didn't have that service so...that was that. Then I renewed the package with our cable and as a perk we got free Netflix, so we watched the rest of the seasons through #5. Bummed that it didn't get picked up then cheered when they announced a final season 6 would be produced and then they released them all at once...odd but OK so we finished up the with the final episode last night. I said I like the show...I agree with Jim and just watch it for the entertainment value...the cop work and legal stuff is goofy but its still a well done series and I like it. That said, I hated the final episode. There I said it. It has been a series that I have enjoyed but it looked like the writers just wanted a crazy sex scene with Walt and Vic and then they threw in, "...and here is what happened with the rest of the gang". It was a letdown after all they did to keep the series going and to get the 6th season...then this...well I just didn't like the way they wrapped it up.

+yep

It was interesting to make Bob and Lucian criminals leading up to the last episode but the ending sucked. It was a letdown.

I was ok with the relationship moving forward, but the love scene didn't add any value to the story line. The happily ever after ending was disappointing, but it was still a series worth watching. I just hope they don't do some stupid spin-off.

You guys suck at spoiler alerts.

But I kept reading anyway, because, well, those two getting together was already written into the show in season five. I'm only a couple episodes into the final season so I'll be sure and stay out of this thread until I'm done.

Sorry ID...I was late getting to the thread and didn't even think about posting a spoiler alert. If I get wound up again, I'll be sure to do it in the spoiler drop down

My impression of this Series is that it has gotten better as the Seasons progressed.

I agree. I liked that they were not afraid to take it to places that the viewer might not have wanted it to go. I am glad they were given the chance to wrap it up as well...season 5 left a lot of things hanging and season 6 was able to at least leave you somewhat settled.

There was a Netflix add on TV last night and it had a picture from the series...I started to say something and my wife told me that if the soapbox or critic's opinion was coming out I should go to the porch and smoke and share my thoughts about the final show with the bunnies in the back yard...I'm thinking she has heard it once or twice.
