3.2 miles with my wife on the road this evening. We were going for 4 but she was having some trouble with the cold.

3.5 on the treadmill last night. Was pretty wiped out after. Hoping for more energy on the next run.

Got 8 in on Saturday and 6 in on Monday (track workout).

Boy am I out of shape. Also, my shoulder is sore from swimming 600 yards. Has anyone seen my cane?

I can cycle for hours. Pedal for a while then drift a while. The first thing to give out is usually my butt.

But running? Just did 2 miles (and 'running' is being generous) and the only thing I can say is that I did it faster than a walking pace.

My running partner is sick and it was cold so I decided to make it quick. 1.75 miles of intervals: 15 second sprints with 1.5 minute jogs in between. That was rough for some reason.

I was short on time, so instead of heading to the gym I ran around the neighborhood. 4 miles that started in a pretty good cold rain... ended in freezing rain/sleet. Felt pretty good. Multiple snot rockets.

You guys inspire me. I'm stuck at 2.5 miles due to the time I can commit to a regular run. I think I need to sign up for a 5k to get over this hump.

If you are short on time, try High Intensity Interval Training. I do this sometimes by jogging a minute, sprinting all out for 15 seconds, jogging a minute, sprinting all out for 15 seconds, and on and on. It is INTENSE. Do it over the course of about a mile and a half and see what you think. Stretch well beforehand.
