Just because he cut the sleeves off of that flannel shirt doesn't mean you should call him "Cooter".

The cat's name was Daisy.
Was there a Cleetus or Enos? Uncle Jesse?

The dog loves it, the wife not so much.

This picture was taken five minutes before she pooed on my least favorite rug today. I love this dog.

How old is she?
Three. She's a good deal larger than the photo makes her appear, but she was the runt.

Yeah, they're pretty laid back mutts. Forgot to mention we almost named this one "Beast" to complement my mother in laws Bouvier named "Belle." I was outvoted.

I thought y'all might need a warm and fuzzy moment - not my dog, but it made me smile:

Thanks, Fred.

Almost as good as Cleetus and Burpcloth.

CW from top: Lucy the Wonderdog, coco, Gracie, Lilla.

Coco and Gracie belong to daughter #3's family and no longer live with us. All except Lucy the Wonderdog are dumb as a rock.

Funny story: Two months ago daughter #3 bought a puppy billed as an Australian Shepard. (That's right, they now have three dogs.) The thing had huge feet and the wrong kind of hair so I said it looked like a German Shepard. It was confirmed when they went to the vet for their first round of shots. The dog will probably be twice as big as she thought, but by then they were attached.

This is one of my poor beasts from better times. First photo I found of her on my slow photobucket account. I will be taking her to the rainbow bridge Monday. Tomorrow my family will enjoy a picnic under a shady tree with her and feed her all grilled food she wants, which probably won't be very much at this point. :(
