Almost recovered from Thanksgiving. I'd love to go into the new year under 200.

It can be done! I finally got there, after 5 months of trying. I've been at a plateau of 197 lbs for 3 weeks, with the final goal being 185.

I'm managing the holiday party/gathering challenge fairly well, but that first day or two following a fall from the wagon is a pain in the butt.

Put on my brown belt - which I haven't worn for several months - Sunday morning. It went to the last notch.

I'm pumped for you guys getting so healthy. Keep at it. It's an encouragement to me. I haven't been taking part like I said I would due to some unforeseen things, but am really happy to see your guys' hard work and results. Good on ya.

It's official: carbs are my kryptonite. I've been seriously lax over the last few days: a few cookies, some candy canes, rice, potatoes, gravy. I gained close to ten. Looks like it's back to a near-zero carb diet for the next couple of weeks.

Definitely time to do a reset. I enjoyed the holiday food, and the trouble I had getting my pants buttoned this morning can attest to that fact.

Ditto. I haven't gained any back, but progress definitely stalled. I got back on the wagon seriously yesterday.

I'm up 17 lbs since mid October. I kind of expected it and even wanted it a little since I've been lifting weights and eating more carbs, but I'm surprised at how much. I don't make a habit of weighing myself. I go more by how I look and feel. I think I'll just keep doing what I'm doing until March when it gets warmer and I'll start jogging more and lower the carbs and total daily calories by 300-500.

I'm only up about a pound (196.6 lbs) after 2 weeks of general holiday eating and lazing around, so that's not too bad.

Back to the regimen, and on to the goal of 185 lbs.

I gained a couple over the holidays (246.4) but I am back down to 242.2 lbs. TOA is still 230.

I'm proud for you. I've put three back on and I'm struggling to get back on the wagon with the same commitment I had before the holidays. No despair, just need a light kick in the pants.

Hmm... Ask Rita. I have never met nor heard of a wife who wasn't ready to deliver a kick in the pants. :)

You can do it!
