How the heck is Houston leading the AL?

Just seems wrong, somehow.

Home office and farm clubs must be doing something right.

So... how about those Cardinals, eh?
They had a slow start but have been playing well lately. Even the Giants seem to be now climbing out of their deep slumber.

I enjoy listening to them, I have since I arrived in Texas, but it still feels odd. Good for them.

The Detroit Tigers bullpen still stinks.

In spite of some success over the past decade, Tigers have never had a good bullpen. So frustrating.
At least Ausmus was willing to move on from KRod.
Next up, Anibal Sanchez...

The hated Dodgers @ the Giants AT&T Park starting now. G's have won the 1st two of the 3 game series, and five in a row. Maybe the sleeping Giant is awakening.

Cueto vs Kershaw.

Scored 11 runs and lost to the Orioles last night in the battle of horrible pitching.

Red Sox vs Cards on the radio.

It's nice listening to adult baseball unlike the Tigers.

I see my Giants are headed to Stl for a series starting Friday. Will be fun to watch.

S.F Giants have been playing well lately and meet up with the Cubs at Wrigley today. Last time they faced off, in last years National League Championship Series, SF's bullpen imploded and the Cubs went on to take it all.

For as much as SF has struggled early this season, they do have a remarkable statistic. No ML team pitching staff has given up fewer home runs. There staff have been keeping the ball down.

The new 1st round draft pick kid infielder in a Giants uniform, Christian Arroyo, looks a lot like a young Pete Rose. Built the same way, too, and with a similar fierceness.

My Giants look as if they aren't going anywhere this year.

But e-gads, look at those Houston Astros. They have a 13 game lead only 2 months into the season.

The Giants? They're 13 games out of 1st place.

And the Rockies are still hanging onto first place in the West.

With my Giants sinking ever further into the basement, it's time to start looking at more exciting, real baseball. Here is the Yankees new phenom, Aaron Judge's 495 foot home run,... the longest home run hit this season so far.....

It's a nail biter, already!
Long season yet ahead, but Colorado and Denver especially seem to have caught Rockies Fever.

I still have a black and purple "Rocktober" long-sleeve tee shirt.
May have to drag it out.

With how bad their season is starting off I can hardly believe KC is only 6 games behind. If we get on a streak this will be an exciting AL Central season.
Looks like this aged well. With AL Central percentage ranging from .449 to .536 with the White Sox last being 6 back and Royals right in the middle 3.5 games back. This will be a fight for the crown. #TAKETHECROWN

They're keeping it interesting, that's for sure. Their play over the next few weeks will decide if they're buyers or sellers in July.

Looks like Colorado, Arizona and LA are going to be slugging it out!
This series with the Dodgers almost feels like September.

WooHoo.
Something to be excited about near mid-season for the first time in ages.

My MLB.com subscription money was wasted this year. My Giants are in the basement and rank near the bottom in almost every category, except home runs allowed.

I also see a lot of empty seats at AT&T Park, and signing last year, Johnny Cueto wants to leave, too. The 3 time World Series champion dynasty appears to be over and done.

But I'm happy for you DP. Go Rockies. I hate the Dodgers.
