I'm simply happy to be watching . Haven't had cable for the last two seasons. Now I do, hooked to a new 55 inch TV.

With that being said, we all know I'm not the most current person on NFL happenings. However, it seemed to be that the Steelers shouldn't have had as rough a time with the Browns today as they did.

This is a weird season.

The 0-10 Browns can still make the playoffs if these 47 things happen
… ESPN ran the numbers and realized that the Browns still have a path to the playoffs as a wild card team, despite being 0-10. The path would require 47 specific results to take place over the final six week of the season, including, of course, the Browns winning their remaining games.

Check out the video Tweet below, which runs through the 47 things. …

… The stats gurus over at fivethirtyeight.com did the numbers and discovered the likelihood of all this happening came in at odds of 19,649,922,085,696,900,000-1. That’s 19 quintillion.…

Ryan Shazier injury update: Steelers LB has movement in lower extremities after scary injury
Image

Steelers linebacker Ryan Shazier was hospitalized overnight in Cincinnati but "continues to improve" after a scary first-quarter back injury Monday night against the Bengals, team GM Kevin Colbert announced early Tuesday morning.

Shazier underwent a CT scan and MRI exam at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center to evaluate the injury, Colbert said in a statement tweeted by the team at 1:23 a.m. ET.

“Ryan’s injury will not require surgery at this time, and he continues to improve,” Colbert said. “He will stay overnight to continue evaluations with the hopes of returning to Pittsburgh on Tuesday. We will provide further updates at the appropriate time.” …

Behold, the play that perfectly sums up the Cleveland Browns' 0-16 season
Image

For a split second, it seemed like DeShone Kizer was going to pull off a miracle.

Or at the very least a play that would keep the Browns from going 0-16 on the season.

He threw what appeared to be a perfect spiral to Corey Coleman. It would have given the Browns a first down, a chance to score at a crucial point in the game. It would have given them their second win in two seasons. Their first win this season.

But then, it went through Coleman’s hands.

Yes, it’s easy to laugh at. There will likely be a parade marking the sad moment.

But the Browns are full of people who had to go to work everyday in a tough environment on their way to making history. Coleman was put in a situation to be the miracle for a team that couldn’t even get a lucky roll their way all season.
