Winter 2018

Post by wsblevins » Sat Jan 06, 2018 11:15 pm

I know a lot of places have it worse, but we’re supposed to get ice around 0300 and I’m not looking forward to it at all. Currently 25°.

We're finally getting some rain here this morning, maybe snow at higher elevations.
So far it's been unseasonably warm and dry in the Valley of San Joaquin.

We've had snow and ice here in SE Texas, and then last night a springtime-like thunderstorm rolled through. This morning the birds are singing like they're gearing up for spring already. And, I've killed a mosquito this morning already.
I'm old but I'm happy. (Most of the time.)

If you weren't such a nice guy, a comment like that might just get you moidalyzed.

Then again, it's my own fault for living here.

What winter?

It’s supposed to rain again this afternoon and evening.
Our lawn is greening up.

The grass is confused.

We've an azalea and a magnolia about to bloom. No skeeters though.

Don't squeeze all that rain from those clouds, we need some down south of you.
