Bali Pipes...

Currently in Bali. Head home Friday to the States. 8 hour flight to Tokyo, 9 hour layover, 14 hour flight to ATL, 3 hour layover, then to MS...UGH! Anywho, I got together with the Bali pipe maker that I've talked with online the last couple years and received the pipes he made for me. He did a pretty great job. The fox looks more wolf-life, but I'm still super impressed. The stems are made of buffalo horn. He also gave me this tamper that was carved from some sort of deer antler that looks like a finger and long finger nail...I love it! Ngurah, didn't speak any English so he brought a friend with him that spoke a little. He also is a great carver. He carves ornate designs into animal skulls.
