Eggs, bacon, waffle, has browns scattered smothered diced. Yes, we're at waffle house.
As thus we sat in darkness
Each one busy with his prayers,
"We are lost!" the captain shouted,
As he staggered down the stairs.

We had eggs, sausage, and pancakes.

We did not eat at Waffle House.

Hot dogs, though to be precise they're WV chili dogs. Meat sauce, mustard, and onion. I spiked 'em with some Cholula.

Choice bottom round bottom in the instant pot-- -with onion, garlic and a few seasonings (with water). I braised them first. House smells good-- we'll have a "slow cooker" meal of pot roast in about an hour.

Couple of evenings ago, we made a pan of socca. I bought dried garbanzo beans, ground them to a course flour in the blender, and it worked out very well, using 2 tbls of black pepper rather than the 1 called for in the original recipe.

Sides included olive oil with crushed red pepper and basil for dipping, and broiled asparagus and green beans.
