Burley Flake #4 in a cob. Listening to a dramatization of a short story called "Ringing the Changes" by Robert Aickman by the BBC, and staring at the rain.

Indeed. The man at the store told me it was his own mixture that he created for the company many years ago, and I was inclined to try it. It is actually a really nice flavor, but the name bothers me too.

Your pastry is gone and your cup is empty. Nice pipe, though.

I remember Rusty mentioning pipe parfaits but I've never done one. Nice pipe there.

Thank you. Rusty got me into parfaits. He used to enjoy them when he either had a little bit of tobacco in his baggie to combine with something else. It was also fun to try and make a blend by having one tobacco segue into another blend in the pipe. Sometimes an aromatic that crosses over into something English or whatever...that's the fun; you can experiment and Rusty would recommend keeping notes on what works or doesn't work and with what pipe.

Burley Flake #4 in a Savinelli 316. This bowl is entirely too big for this tobacco.

Thank you sir! The photo is from a Cafe, i take photos when only when the coffee arrives meanwhile i don't put tobacco in the pipe because would dry due to the delay. In Greece the waiter first let you sit, take off the jacket etc and after few minutes comes with glasses of water. You can order this time or tell him come back few minutes later because "i am waiting a friend" or "i haven't decide yet". The coffee is inside that cup but he brought me a big one for my espresso and the cookie [blue package] is in the beside the cup and as always is free.
