I used a lot of paper matches back in my drinking days. Never noticed a problem, other than that time I had a burning match head lodged between my thumbnail and quick.

When my father smoked a pipe, he only used paper matches that they gave away at gas stations. He also smoked Paladin cherry.

No.

Not at all. A book of matches can fit neatly in a wallet.
