Auction finds

I went to an estate auction tonight with hopes of snagging 2 or 3 boxes of 40+ old tobacco tins in each box. Unfortunately they went for insane amounts of money, each one going for hundreds of dollars. Since I have a disease that doesn't let me go to auctions without buying something, I scored two boxes of the tobacco related stuff.

The first box was filled with old cigarette packs, mostly unopened, many of them dating back to the 1940's and 1950's. It also held lots of cool cigarette cases, old roll-your-own papers and machines, and lots of other interesting things.


The second box had some tobacco tins, more roll your own supplies, and really neat tobacco jars.

I just watched a youtube video where the guy behind McClelland's stated he was always on the look out for old cigarettes and willing to trade pipe tobacco for it (or buy them).
