Today I decided I would go through my cellar to see just how much McClelland Product I actually have. I had guessed maybe 9 pounds, but the tally is 22 ½ pounds (11.5 pounds of McClelland tinned Virginias & 11 pounds of bulk) equal to 204 50g tins. If I can get 6 bowls out of one tin, and I only smoke 1 bowl of McClelland per day, as I normally do, in the evening, it will last 3.35 years, till the summer of 2021.

Tins
26 Beacon Extra 50g
19 Aurora 50g
14 Tudor Castle 50g
4 Beacon 50g
4 Pebblecut 50g
7 St. James Woods 100g
4 40th Aniversary 100g
1 Frog Morton 100g
1 Dark Star 100g

BULK
2015 VaPer 5.25 pounds
5100 Red Cake 2.25 pounds
5115 Old World Classic Cake 2 pounds
2010 Classic Virginia ½ pound
2000 Fragrant Matured Cake 1 pound
Wow.
I think with the 5.25 pounds of McCl bulk 2015 VaPer I have (which I love very much), that that will help keep me from smoking up the McCl SJWs, Tudor Castle, Pebblecut and Beacon. That way maybe I'll be smoking the last bits of it all at the same time in the summer of 2021. :prayin:

And the nearly 5 pounds of bulk McCl straight Virginias may keep me from burning through all the McCl Aurora. Kinda something the way that all worked out. I didn't plan it. It just happened. God blessed my cellar! :signofcross:

I listed my inventory in a spreadsheet last week and thought I was well stocked. Nice stash.

If you keep all those tins unopened they might be worth a lot in a few years.

I know you prefer larger pipes, but 6 bowls a tin is a really low estimate.

I have a new Upshall Tilshead coming that is 15/16th diameter and 2 inches deep. This pipe would take nearly 3 full Dunhill Flake flakes to fill. How many flakes are there in a tin of Dunhill Flake? 20?,... or less?

Also, JoeGoat's pipe he made for me last fall is large. I am guessing I get no more than 6, maybe even less bowls from a tin of Beacon, or Aurora in that pipe. I also like a firm pack, with draw resistance. That works especially well with JoeGoats pipe because it has a wide open draw.

You made me curious what I have McClelland wise back in my parents house, so here it is:

2 Black Shag 50g
13 Brindle Flake 50g
1 Anniversary Blend 100g
5 Blue Mountain 50g
1 2012 Christmas Cheer 100g
1 Deep Hollow 100g
3 FM Across the Pond 50g
2 FM Cellar 100g, 3 50g
2 Black Sea Sokhoum 50g
2 Classic Samsun 50g
2 Drama Reserve 50g
2 Katerini Classic 50g
2 Smyrna No. 1 50g
2 Yenice Agonya 50g
2 Yenidje Highlander 50g
2 Yenidje Supreme 50g
4 Red and Black 50g
4 Rose of Latakia 50g
3 Syrian Full Balkan 50g
4 Syrian Ringlow Reserve 50g
2 Syrian Star 50g (so wish I would have bought more when I had the chance)
4 3 Oaks Original 50g
10 3 Oaks Syrian 50g
3 Wilderness 50g

A great variety of stuff, but it's only around 8.5 lbs. I could make a pretty penny off the Syrian stuff, but I love it too much.

We finally know what happened to the lost CPSers: They opened Gooses' McClellend 'Baccy Vault™ without the proper clearance. Here is some captured footage:

I did not take enough advantage of McClelland while they were around.

That's a real bummer. I'm mostly an English blend guy, and Frog Morton is my 2nd favorite English blend. I know many people for whom that is their #1 favorite English blend.

I'd say it was my #1.

What's yer #1?

I'm on the look out for a new #1.
I love GLP Blackpoint, Chelsea Morning, and Dunhill 965, and EMP, and H&H Black House, all very good!

I did just yesterday find some McCl Stave Aged Virginia tins made for their 35th Anniversary at a Brick & Mortar in Wash, D.C., GTTobacco. But I've received no confirm email from them so it may not even be there.

I have an unopened tin of that on my shelf.
Me too, I didn’t care for the Frog Morton Cellar, so I don’t know if I’ll like this one or not.

To be honest, I'd be content to smoke Prince Albert for the rest of my life. There are plenty of other tobaccos I enjoy but I'm not twisted up if I can no longer buy them. I'd certainly not pay the premium prices folks are asking for out-of-production tobaccos.

I wouldn't pay those prices either. I'll certainly sell them for that price though. Their anxiety is my gain.
