Yesterday morning was Squadron Leader in the Savinelli Punto Oro while drinking coffee and reading outside.

Yesterday afternoon was SUPPOSED to be Pegasus in the beat-up LaRocca while fishing with the fam. I went to re-fill small jar and pouch from the large jar that most of it is in and the large jar was full of mold.

Ended up taking a couple Red Lion cheroots.

Ouch! 3 ounces of Penzance is a costlier loss than my Pegasus. I bought a pound last fall and that was the last 3rd of a jar maybe... 3-4 ounces worth? hard to tell. Disappointing all the same.

Riegel's Pipe Maker's Choice in my Karl Erik sandblast tomato while on a very long lunch break between simulated heart attacks for nurse's training. I am a standardized patient!

Christening my new-to-me estate L.J. Peretti at this very moment, with a mix of McCl 5115 & 5100 red Virginia flake. Very, very pleased with this pipe. It may be a very good smoker. And if I may brag a little more, all that really nice grain, and only $40,... including shipping from Florida.

Below pics of the Peretti, straight out of the box. I soaked the stem in Dawn water, and ran some Ever Clear through the draft hole, and it was good to go!! :prayin: Thank you, Lord.

I'll be smoking a lot of good tobacco down to white ash in this pipe. Draft hole dead center bottom of bowl......
