I don't have a picture here...but 20+ years ago I purchased a leather pouch with a zipper pocket in the bottom for a pipe and nail and then a pouch space on top. I use it when I take a pipe with me for a day trip...it holds about 3 bowls and a medium to small pipe. Other times or weekend or longer trips or if I want to take a couple of tins, I have a military mechanics kit bag that I carry its about the size of a shaving kit bag.

I seem to remember some one here who did leatherwork and made some roll up pipe pouches.

This is my favorite for travel:

I use this two pipe case from Mac Baren the most:

I also have this Jodey case that JimVH posted for longer trips:

What up, scorpion killah?

I have a small leather button pouch made by Daniel. I forget his CPS login, he's been out a while. That pouch is my favorite. I have another roll up that gets zero use.

But for travel I use one similar to pic below. It's a 2 pipe holder with a detachable bakky pouch. I ripped that useless thing out right away. I get 4 pipes, cleaners, zippo, and tamper in there. Carry the baccy in my oh so trusty button pouch and done.

I got that from your FBI clearance report. Have you taken care of that issue in New Jersey yet?

I thought you stopped smoking. Usually not using them means we don't have to carry them around. Are you running away from home?

I use a pipe rollup. Tobacco goes in a ziplock. Many ziplocks can go in a larger ziplock, if necessary.

This is a prototype that I sewed.
I would like Coco to make a leather version one day when I figure out the refinements.
The advantage to this one is that it will fit into a sportcoat pocket.

For about 13 years now I've been using a large leather microphone bag Chip gave to me. When fully loaded it's 3 inches wide, 4 inches tall, and 6 1/2 inches long, so twice as wide and twice as tall as your standard zipper top mic bag. It's large enough for travel and fits 3 or 4 pipes, multiple baggies, and is wide enough to fit a couple C&D-type tins. The leather has softened to that beautiful feeling of old gold, and it's a constant companion. It and an old, gifted Czech tool that's about an inch longer than most, are my treasured possessions. Losing either one of these two items would be devastating.
It's not available because if you try it you will die. Your face will melt off and your children will weep over your exploded body. --Colton

I'm considering the cooler months where I may have a jacket and opportunity to carry-- concealed carry the pouch :). Portability with a pouch has an appeal.

Third time's a charm.

I also have a leather pouch for pipe w/tobacco. Made by Dunhill. From my 70's collection. I should take pics of them. It's a two sided zipper affair. Pipe is held on one side of the pouch and tobacco on the other. I actually have two, one in brown and one in black so the jacket application was intended. I found they were too bulky for that application in practice and they didn't really work in a jacket outside pocket either. They tended to end up in the briefcase, which is dangerous for a pipe. When it's just one small pipe I slip it in the jacket inside chest pocket as-is and the tobacco is in a small ziplock which can go in an outside jacket pocket (tins never go out with me anywhere). That worked.

Where are you running away to?

I have one like this too, but it's some Italian company, bought it in Germany. It has lasted me 7 years of traveling and even hauling around town and it's still in great shape!

Sounds dangerous for the pipe...
