Your Latest Pipe Purchase!

Post by nosferatu » Mon Jan 26, 2009 6:07 pm

So since we have threads showing our dream pipes and our "stud of all our pipes," I figured I'd start a thread showcasing our latest pipes that we've bought.

Here is mine, a Nørding purchased today from Bruce's Pipe Shop in Asheville:

I love my Nording. Great pipes.

I like your volcano shape and the finish is very nice. Sharp!

Here are four Dr. Grabows I just got in, from the top down:

A DeLuxe bent squat bulldog, shape 9779, from the late Linkman's era, I think;

A Starfire poker, shape 85 from the Collector's Series;

A Starfire "pickaxe", shape 39 from the Continental Series;

An Eldorado large bulldog, red stain finish, shape 61.

I picked up a couple estates recently. One Stanwell Royal Danish and one Dunhill Cumberland. I may post pictures once I get them. The Dunhill needs a lot of work. I figured I should probably own and smoke at least one Dunhill to see if my opinion on them has any basis.

You can get them cheap (for pipes, that is). That one only cost me $58.00 new and I bought another as an estate pipe for $15.00.

I just bought three of John's pipes during his pipe and tin clearout. He said he'll probably ship them today so I hope to have them soon.

I used to have an Aldo Velani Bulldog... I gave it to a friend who ended up giving it to his brother. I miss it :cry:

Just won myself a Duncan Delta Metal pipe. It will go well alongside my Falcon pipes once its refurbished. My first pipe for the new year 2009:)

I bought this Charatan's 420 with the stem in pretty bad shape. I've been able to clean it up a lot, but it still needs a little more work:
