Strangely enough, that's why I avoided it the first time around but clicked on it this time.

Well, I just cancelled my therapy sessions for the problem that I thought I had. My daily routine of scouring Ebay and weekly ritual of combing every antique shop in town for pipes can continue! :bacon:

cheez looeez--lemme think...

an old--pre-1949, I think--Kapruf apple that I had restemmed.

An "Irish Whiskey" XL90.

A 306.

A 303.

An 05--which is a favorite despite being the only pipe Own that will not pass a pipe cleaner without disaassembly.

Two billards, one of which needs restemming.

A canadian, which is also a favorite.

An 80s.

I THINK that's it, off the top of my head...

Only 4 Petersons, 3 estates, 1 new, all purchased in the last 6 months or so.

Canadian
Billiard
Woodstock/Yacht
Bent bulldog

All Donegal Rockies--two with hallmarked silver bands, two newer with nickle bands.
I bought the Canadian first. It was a great looking pipe and a fine smoker that got me more interested in Petes.

None of them are Pete's.
They're all mine. :pipe2:

I posted this photo here after I added the fourth:

A Peterson 3 grade small billiard with a 1903 hallmark, 2 pre-republic shamrocks (x105--best smoker I own, and a zulu), 2 Deluxe Systems (an 8s and a giant with the best quality vulcanite stem I've ever seen), 3 Donegals (a large bent ball, the odd rho-dog, and a bent apple), and a large system block meerschaum.

Edit, I forgot the Rosslare of Extreme Filth. I'm about to ream out about half an inch of cake. The experiment is over, Mr. van Halen.

I have many petes and they all smoke great. I had a Peterson meerschaum I aquifer from a box pass that either one of my kids or one of their friends ripped.

I've got 7. A 301, 302, 307, 2 317s (one smooth, one rustic), a Tankard, and a ca. 1946 Dublin-marked that is probably as close to a birth-year pipe that I'll have. All are P-lips, all smoke great.

Does anyone have a full Peterson Sherlock Holmes set?

That is on the pipe bucket list for me. I would also like a set in the Jr which they make no longer. I know I only have 1 Jr--a Derestalker Rustic.

You have the funds to buy it now? I could always ask what he has. He's always selling something.

No. Maybe next year sometime if the plans work out. Hmm.. I should get the pipe trunk out and see how close I am.

I have 2 Petes

A Standard Bulldog (my first Pete and my first Bulldog) it is the pipe I take to the hills with me. It is is a find a beautiful spot and smoke pipe.

The second is a huge Bent Billiard with a lucite stem..it came to me kind of beat up, but I cleaned and sanded and it now looks used but no longer abused...it used to be the biggest pipe I owned, but I have 2 now that are bigger. It is still a solid hour to smoke the Pete...so it is a restful evening pipe on the patio.

I only have 1 Pete, it's a Sportsman I got in Dublin, but man, oh man, how I want these: Image. It's a shame I can't afford 'em.
