Out of Office - Up All Night

Post by wsblevins » Thu Jan 05, 2017 2:21 pm

I purchased a roll of tins of this blend because it was on sale. Doing that sight unseen can be a gamble. This time I won.
Out of Office - Up All Night is just one blend in the Out of Office series by Pipes & Cigars.

The tin description indicates that it is white Burley topped with rum. A simple blend that just works. Upon opening the tin I found soft, white Burley. The tobacco and tin note very similar to that of Classic Burley Kake except not pressed and without the anise. It packs well, lights easily enough and the rum stays with it throughout the bowl. The tobacco moisture content is ok, but it may benefit somewhat by drying out for a few minutes.

This is a very pleasant and enjoyable smoke and relatively inexpensive by tin standards. It's not likely to benefit much from aging and I only wish it were available in bulk.

I tried the Gone Fishin' and was not impressed. I smoked maybe two bowls.

Yeah, I didn't think that one sounded too appealing.
