Wait, what? the Olympics aren't all in the same year any more? How are we supposed to get excited if they come around every two years?

Yeah, I wish I had gone with the nose ring. But I was younger and stupid; I thought the ear notches looked sexier at the time.

A truly outstanding effort from one and all, but this one from the Judge sent me into a FFBL (full fledged belly laugh for those of you who don't understand super cool internet lingo).

PM your address to me Judge.

I thought the Judge rocked this contest. Several he wrote had me howling.

Also, wonderful idea for a contest. I know one of your grands raises pigs--is this a family sow, so to speak?

Finally, all those in agreement that this pig has now become an official CPS meme, please signify by saying "Aye."

That pig is long since eaten. This was my grandson's Houston Livestock Show market pig entry his senior year in HS. A spectacular hog that should have gotten a long look, but instead, only lasted about 20 seconds in the ring and was sent straight to the processor. He poured life's blood into that hog and wound up only making about $150 on the sale.

Them's the breaks.

Also why you'd better love raising hogs or find a different career. Worse with dairy cattle.

I've been lobbying for years that FFA (remember when that used to actually stand for something) should push a game keepering program. Land is being converted into private hunting estates and leased to the highest bidder. Those guys don't know how to hunt, so the estate better provide plenty of game. That means keepers and trapping and vermin control. I think we're going to start seeing game keepers as a viable rural career where actual farming gets pushed off to Monsanto.

Effing shame. Good looking pig.
