Bad Movies

Post by UncleBob » Wed Mar 24, 2010 4:55 pm

Do you like bad movies? I love 'em. I don't know how many I own but my favorite would have to be Army of Darkness.I even started a blog on Bad Movies.

What are your favorites?

Plan 9 from Outer Space and Robot Monster, the kings of bad movies.

"Hudson Hawk" is the best bad movie ever.

That is all.

(And what's with this poll--there's no butterfly option!)
And what is good, Phaedrus, and what is not good? Need we ask anyone to tell us these things?

Thomas and the Magic Railroad

Flippin' awful. Makes my blood boil. Adulterating Thomas the Tank Engine with 'magic', horrible live action characters and Americanisms is a crime for which no amount of punishment could satisfy.

The second worst film I've seen is the Pokemon film.

I'm not too up on my bad films...more of a time issue and actually "good" films to watch.

But I wanted to recommend my brother's movie review website, which seems to specialize in such cult movies: mutantreviewers.wordpress.com. Enjoy.

Whoa! That is a bad movie.

I like Hudson Hawk but I'm not sure that it qualifies as a bad movie. Hmm.. normally a Bad Movies needs either a chainsaw or Nazis.

HH was a bad movie that was good (Darwin and Minerva Mayflower were two of the best villians I've ever seen).

A really bad movie would have Nazis AND a chainsaw.

"Tacos" in the lead - no surprise.

My grandson asks to watch The Fog (1980) everytime he comes over.

Plan 9 from Outer Space was so bad it was unwatchable. It went beyond being bad that it was funny on a higher level to utter waste of time. Other like that were Ninja Cheerleaders (with a name like that it had potential) and G.O.R.P.. I almost forgot Drumline.

Bad but unintententionally funny or good

Anything featured on Mystery Science Theater 3000
Anything by Troma films

Oh man, I thought my friends and I were the only people who actually knew of 'The Room'!! I couldn't believe I saw it in here! That was hands down the worst movie ever I would say. Shoot Em Up was a close second :)

I think Battlefield Earth is just a horrible movie. Bad Movies, are wrong, inane, shameful (perhaps), and wonderfully delicious. Nothing about Battlefield Earth is remotely good.

There was a time in my life when I honestly felt that I could tell whether I would get along with someone based on their reaction to 'Hudson Hawk'. It sounds like you wouldn't have gotten along with college Bigwill. (Thirty-something Bigwill with a wife, three kids and a mortgage is another story . . . )
