I'm pretty sure the same chart would fairly accurately reflect the number of college/university faculty vs. college/university administrators.infidel wrote:

Interesting article with interesting charts:
The short history of global living conditions and why it matters that we know it.

Re: The Chart of the Day
I found this interesting after seeing some comments about icebergs melting causing the ocean to rise (scientists say) due to that new Delaware sized iceberg in the Antarctic. I searched and found the rising is measured in micrometers (1000ths of a millimeter) --* the cause is by it being freshwater density difference and temperature expansion due to changes from ice to median sea water temperature--> the bulk of displacement is already accounted for due to Archimedes principle*. Got me curious as to how much evaporation of the ocean occurs in the cycle... tada-- a chart.

Re: The Chart of the Day
A nice series of charts to help people understand how meaningless correlation can be (or to start some really interesting conspiracy theories).
I was going to post a teaser visual here, but the way that the charts are embedded in the webpage prevents that, so I'll just mention that one example is that there is an amazing correlation between the age of Miss America and the number of murders by steam, hot vapors, and hot objects.
