I enjoyed some homemade raspberry ice cream today.

Tasty.

There are ChocoTacos(ice cream tacos)---very popular with our Boy Scouts. Do they exist outside of California?

Strawberry ripple from a roadside stand in Burlington, Vermont. I still get flashbacks.

Ben And Jerry's Dastardly Mash. Gone but not forgotten. in fact I'm boycotting ben and Jerry until it is exhumed.

Baskin Robbins Coconut Nut---got me through Signal Corps Officer Basic at Ft. Gordon, Geoorgia in 84. Don't Mess With My Toot-toot and Raspberry Beret were the hit songs on the radio then.

There a coconut/toasted almond ice cream made by the students at the local University and sold in the farm store that is splendid.

Just had some Neopolitan, which I think was prohibited by OT kosher laws.

Local dairy, they make their own ice cream; they deliver milk in glass bottles, too. Expensive, but very, very good. Spoiled my kid rotten, she won't drink anything else.

In the past decade or so, they have grown into a small regional concern, buying small dairies, expanding delivery area, and opening a chain of retail shops. Family owned, the president runs a successful investment firm, and has run unsuccessfully as a Republican for governor, US senator, and US rep. Looks like he will finally win a state senate seat.

I'm old school. Chocolate iced cream is the way to go.

that or mint chocolate chip.

...and thanks to Fozzie Bear I've always had a longing for honey ice cream. I haven't found it nor tried it...but I'll bet if ever I do it won't live up to the hype...
