Weren't you the guy reporting that everything is up? You can have it both ways but not for long and it's not pleasant. Ice Cream is a no no.
I can't believe you have your own ice-cream thread. Very brave.
There it is.

You wouldn't see me stepping in all caring-like as Rusty did, concerned for a man he considered a friend. Glad you put him in his place. As far as I'm concerned, you can have all the ice cream you want. In fact, I encourage you to have all of the ice cream you want.
You are obviously not a diabetic. When people find out you are they start policing what you eat--and not all actually understand the disease. For instance, one day after my supervisor found out I have the Beetus, I started to eat a fresh peach and my supervisor ran into my office and yelled, "STOP!" I looked at him like he had gone full Del and said, "WTF are you doing?" He said, "You can't eat that peach! It has sugar in it. My aunt has diabetes; I know about these things."

Sorry, this is the unfortunate influence of Christians on me. The discovery that you can tell other people "no" is really powerful. And it is so much easier to tell someone else "no" than to tell ourselves. It's awful but strangely gratifying. I'm also worried that it's a creeping byproduct of the avatar. You're right. Thankfully, I am not a diabetic. At least not yet as it certainly runs in my family. I sympathize whole heartedly with those who are. My wife is a drink counter--she likes to ask me whether the second or third cocktail is truly necessary and I find that beyond annoying. I can only imagine what being monitored about food intake would be like.

Still, it's a sign of love that people take the trouble to care. An annoying sign of love, perhaps, but a sign nonetheless.

I just ate my first scoop of Ben and Jerry's Coffee Coffee Buzz Buzz ice cream flavor. Yes, this is what desert is supposed to be like. If my diabetic life ends eating stuff like this, I've lived well.

Any high quality ice cream I can get cheap, such as Ben And Jerry's Butterscotch,of which I recently scored a foodservice 2.5 gallon carton of for $6.50.

I have recently discovered that chocolate liquor tastes good on most ice cream I know.

On my way home from town this afternoon, I heard the siren call of Baskin Robbins 31.
Pulled over, went in, ordered a single dip sugar cone of Jamoca Almond Fudge.

Wish I'd ordered a double dip.

Last summer Baskin Robbins had this one... I didn't have any idea it would become a favorite.

My favorite has always been Mayfield Moose Tracks. But haven't been able to find it in almost a year.
