Colours You Didn't Know Existed

The part of the church where the silliest things happen. Conversations that sound like they belong in the youth room will be moved here.

Didjer know that there are only six colours in a rainbow? Sir Isaac Newton, who was interested in numerology, thought there ought to be seven, that being the perfect number, and convinced himself that he could see indigo between blue and viloet, but it isn't really there.
So that's why the gay flag rainbow only has six strips.

And the cultural appropriation, too. The rainbow is a biblical symbol for God's promise not to destroy us all, no matter how much we deserve it.

The gay pride rainbow is their response to God's merciful love: "Yeah, God! Take that! Nyah! Nyah! Nyah! :P "

LOL! It's like you're a foreigner. BTW the pic has the flag upside down. Bloody savages.

There wasn't a global flood so the promise was a non sequitur and the biblical rainbow flag was ceded to the LGBTQ. Tough bananas.
The good news is that God loves humans & human-hybrids and is more tolerant than anyone suspected. LGBTQ aren't furling his brow.
There is a symbolic meaning to each colour on the pride flag and it's nothing to do with your idea.

The meanings are entirely artificial, which makes sense.

This is like saying kids these days don't know that Prussian Blue exists because Crayola changed the name to Midnight Blue.

What? Yes, he did. He didn't start the thread but yes, he was the first to link it to gays and rainbow flags.
Hint to the moderator: If the topic isn't LGBTQ and it goes there anyway it's usually due to Del.

Favorite automobile paint color names:

1970 Ford colors Freudian Guilt, Original Cinnamon, Thanks Vermillion and Anti-Establish Mint
1970 Mopar Go Mango and Plum Crazy (more commonly known in NASCAR circles as Statutory Grape)

If someone offered me a 1970 Charger R/T with 440 Six Pack (and enough time keep the carbs synchronized) in Statutory Grape/White, I wouldn't say no.

4 barrel, not a Six Pack, but I could live with it:

https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=whXXY6NM-3I

Not Statutory Grape, but a Six Pack. I could live with it;

https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=XAQXpfpAHAE

If a Statutory Grape/White in a 6 Pack turns up, I'll ask forgiveness, not permission.
(Not really, but sorta like imagining a smooth Audrey full of BBF between my lips.)

Oh, and hugo to represent me in traffic court.
The most improper job of any man, even saints, is bossing other men. Not one in a million is fit for it, and least of all those who seek the opportunity.

If you have to say that, you're either intentionally ruining the punchline or your ordinary behavior is not very different.
