My wife and I watched Crocodile Dundee last night on Netflix. Like most movies from the eighties, I never watched it before (I'm in my 40's). Still not convinced I missed much.

Blue Ruin -- Great revenge, thriller flick.

The Hunt -- Excellent, excellent acting by Mads Mikkelsen.

I broke down and got Netfix yesterday for the family. Frankly, I didn't think I would use it myself but I stayed up way too late watching Season 4 of Longmire. It is the best season yet.

I've been playing a series called "Doc Marten" for background noise.

When I am awake and catch an episode I'm rather pleased with it.

British comedies are much more sophisticated than their America counterparts, that's for sure.

At my family Christmas gathering, I railed against the American comedy 'Two Broke Girls'. I've watched a few snippets every now and then to check if it's really as bad as I remember. Its is. Just one dirty joke after. What little dialog there is, is simply to set up the next (predictable) dirty joke. After I finished my rant, my Aunt pointed to my Uncle and said "It's his favorite show." I didn't say it, but I thought "I'd have guessed as much".

Until a few weeks ago we had small TVs. I didn't watch them much. I watched Netflix on my iPad once in a while. I installed a large TV with sound system. I watch way more than I did before.

I've been watching Life a documentary and Marco Polo.

Though not technically on Netflix. . .
I found a new BBC show staring James May called The Reassembler. There's only three episodes so far and I streamed them from youtube. We follow May through the reassembly of various machines - so far a gas lawn mower, old dial telephone, and an electric guitar. Like everything May does, it's wonderfully entertaining if you're interested in mechanical things and dry humor.

If you like violent slasher movies, Hush is pretty suspenseful (and it's only 1:20 long).

At my son's insistence, I started the Daredevil series. So far not bad.

It kind of reminds me of that other Stan Lee character, you know the regular guy that gets super powers by accident through some chemical or radioactive material and then fights evil, you know the one.
