Dream Interpretation

The part of the church where the silliest things happen. Conversations that sound like they belong in the youth room will be moved here.

I was at a gathering of families and someone decided that I should find all of the little kids and tuck them in for naps.

I couldn't find any of the little kids. But there were some bigger kids playing video games and they didn't want to take any naps. They looked too old to take naps anyway.

So I kept looking for the little kids, but many obstacles kept delaying me. I finally decided that the kids must be somewhere, taking a nap.

I dream of many things...none of them pleasant. I think my brain is broken.

This dream teaches us that we should all take more naps.

Nope. Nothing funny there.

The implicit valuation of the cob by the people in the dream is symbolic of the values of voters in America, the voters who have chosen Trump and Hillary as their candidates in the primaries.
So the good guys will smoke cobs and America's enemies won't? I appreciate the validation.

It is EXTREMELY rare I remember dreams. I can probably count on one hand the dreams I've remembered in the last 30 or so years. However I often wake up with a song immediately in my head and on my lips. Sometimes gospel or hymns. Other times not.

Interpret that.

I had a dream last night that I was fishing in Canada and had a 300 pound pet dog with me.

Perhaps, Jim, the present Texas hot weather had you dreaming of cooler climes.

As for the 300 pound dog, aren't most things in Texas big?

You're gay. Secret desire to sing show tunes, buried away under religiosity to keep you from having to deal with the harsh reality of reaching an unfulfilled middle age.

Or you like to sing. Fielder's choice.

That's a relief. I feared it was metro latency or adult onset of metroness or something like that.

You and Hogleg good friends, Hugo?

I ask because I--and a lot of other viewers of this thread--need to know how it is you can say such things.
Oh, shut up. Hugo can say what he wants. He's the Waldorf to my Statler. So calm down or we'll team up against you.
