Post by DepartedLight » Wed Jun 22, 2016 5:10 pm

Czech? Wow, they have some gorgeous women. But bohemian? Pardon me, but you don't seem to be bohemian at all.

What's wrong with saying Hi to Thunk?

No need for pardon - you don't seems to be a Canadian to many of us.

Now had you started with "Sooorrrry...", well then...

LOL! No the word sorry conveys the wrong sense in a very subtle way. If I had said that then folks might think I had something to do with you being bohemian or not. I'm innocent of that, except for perceptions so it's "pardon me". Then again some folks use "pardon me" interchangeably with "sorry". Canadians have a wealth of such terms in our speech. Some people start every sentence with "sorry".

Can you imagine this? Sorry, Hi!
