Two things.

- Why did Durangopipe use quotation marks when referring to his wife as a "woman"?
- Is it OK for a 55 year old to like Green Day? JK, I don't care if it's OK or not.
- I wear a wristwatch with an analog dial. A $20 Timex Expedition I've had for around 20 years. I like leather bands but they get so stinky I have to replace them every two years or so, but the watch is the same one I've had forever. For a time, my oldest grandson thought it was neat to ask me the time so we could both look at my wristwatch.
- The clock on the radio in my kitchen flashes 12:00. I could set it easy enough, but Mrs FredS often unplugs it when she has all of her kitchen power tools out so it would be a constant exercise. It's a digital radio and it remembers all of the station presets when it loses power, but not the time. Weird.
- In 1979 my Grandfather bought me a pen with a digital clock built in to it. He thought it was about the coolest thing he'd ever seen and he swore it was the same one used by the Apollo astronauts.

I have a Seiko self winding in all stainless that I've had for maybe 5 years. Hogleg recommended it. I have to have stainless or some precious metal because my sweat dissolves leather in no time. I like the analog dial. It gives me a sense of the past, present, and future when I look at it. It's been a great keeper of time up until about a year ago. It's loses about 3 minutes a week so I need to adjust it.

Beyond comprehension, awe inspiring, archetypal "Woman," as in: I am (well, she is) "WOMAN" hear me (her) roar.

She's actually at the clinic today, but after 30 years I'm pretty sure she knows what I'm thinking, even at a distance.

If you're not 15 mins early, you're late, my son used to say.

My wife gave me a Seiko almost 40 yrs ago, and when I wear a watch it's what I wear. It's been splashed with acid, cement slurry, salt and fresh water, and I can still read the dial, although barely.

How fast are you moving and according to which observer?
If the Universe is expanding would we have to be moving in the other direction in order to be not moving?
According to which observer?

I am a watch wearer. I have several and pick the one for the day based on activities planned and what strikes me at the time, same for my pocket knife. I like them all to be on time and set them with my Casio Wave Ceptor watch, it gets its signal and set from Boulder.

My favorite watch is the one I am wearing. I only use the cell phone for time keeping when I am in a hotel and wake in the middle of the night and want to know what time it is. We have several clocks through out the house and I keep them set the same as my watches, the only one I don't mess with is the one on my wife's night stand...DP has already covered the reasoning in not messing with a wife's clock, watch, logic and so on...

Not quite... the new fancy enhanced CPS shows a screen shot when it's a YouTube video. No more need to wonder what I'm not clicking on.

I was at a 7-11 once and I asked a guy what time it was. He spilled his Big-Gulp he was holding in his hand as he rotated his wrist to look at his watch. I felt embarrassed for him.
