Silly slowtoke.

The world ended in 1914, 1916, and for the last time in 1975.

Sock puppets. That's all we've been and seen since 1975.

So.

You up for a rootbeer float? My treat.

Dude.

I got jesters Visa card. Extra toppings, baby.
Wait.....does that mean I'm in purgatory? I'll be dog; Del was right all this time.
Are you sure?

I just can't wrap my head around how so many can be so wrong all the time about this.

It's pretty simple, really.....

Jesus told us we don't know when; no one knows when.

So if the Bible is really true, then those "biblical" predictors will always be wrong.

I heard the end of the world had been postponed until a week from next Thursday. Says so in the memo right here.

Apparently it's also not supposed to be a single catastrophic, TEOTWAWKI type of event, but a series of events over the course of seven years beginning in October.
In theory, theory and practice are the same. In practice, they are not.

No! Well if the world is going to end, then I wish it would just go ahead and get on with it.
As thus we sat in darkness
Each one busy with his prayers,
"We are lost!" the captain shouted,
As he staggered down the stairs.

It's funny. I literally had no clue folks were predicting the world to end/rapture/etc until like the day before when I saw people joking on the internet about it. Really nice to not be in those circles.

Wasn't it Jesus who rebuked the religious leaders of His day for knowing how to read the signs in the sky, and wind, to predict weather, but failing to read the signs of the times, i.e. the Messianic prophecies that pointed to Him?

We do have now all of the Old and New Testament prophecies pointing at what things will be like just before God drops the curtain on this drama. But no one can find any prophecy that specifically points to a day and hour. One can only know when it is near.
