My town in the New York Daily News

The part of the church where the silliest things happen. Conversations that sound like they belong in the youth room will be moved here.

Actually, anywhere somebody is foolish enough to eat salmon sushi. It's famous for being worm infested (all salmonids are) and considered a low class fish in Japan.

I'm still working out how Lt. Numbnuts put a pistol bullet into his car roof.

That Lt was a Cpt and CO of an AR Medium Truck Co. As a newly minted 2nd Lt I was the S2 and in that capacity had to sign on as "owner" of 20 diesel tractors and 40 44' flat bed trailers, all the support vehicles. tools and arms, including the CO's 1911 and 3 M-60's (much to my regret, we didn't have any M-2s on our TO&E, unlike the fuel haulers) plus a whole arms room full of yellow tagged M-16A-1s with shot out barrels and who knows what else was wrong with them.
At least the 1911 went "bang"---apparently just not when expected!
IIRC, when it came time for annual qualifications we borrowed M-16s from the nurses from the Station Hospital unit.

At least our trucks ran like champs!

Slightly off topic. Our unofficial motto in my favorite Army unit was:

We’re the MSQ
And we don’t like to boast
But everything we do
Will surely suck the most.
