Great lines in Rock

The part of the church where the silliest things happen. Conversations that sound like they belong in the youth room will be moved here.

'cause there's victory in the lord I say
Victory in the lord
Cling to the father and his holy name
And don't go riding on that long Black Train
There's an engineer on that long black train
Making you wonder if your ride is worth the pain
He's just a waitin on your heart to say
Let me ride on that long black train
---Josh Turner Long Black Train

Oh. Look! A Pharisaical-Orthodox-Latin-Rite dodge on what the meaning of is, is.

You are either brilliantly gifted in philosophical debate or, a douchbag.

I like my country rocking', how 'bout you?

Into the corner, mister. 15 minutes. Yes, you have to wear the hat. What good is it if you don't wear the hat?
Since the majority of what is played on a “country station” in 2018 sounds much like 1990s pop music; I can see your confusion.

You see, I never thought I would see the day that The Eagles would be played on a country station, but it happens.

I’m not sure where the line is, but I’m thinking Mr. Turner probably thinks of himself as closer to Mr. Cash or Mr. Twitty than Mr. Bono (?) or Mr. Hagar.
