I am related, through a number of twists and turns, to Brooke Shields. She is not aware of this. Or of me.

It is said that we are related to Matthew Brady, the civil war photographer.

We are related to Joel Lane, who provided the land for the City of Raleigh to be built on (1792).

I can trace my ancestry to Thomas Riddle who lived in Hamilton Parish, Scotland, in 1564.

I have met, talked with and taken a picture of my daughter with Vincent Irizarry who plays in one of them soap operas. He and his wife, Avalon, are Christians.

That is all.
Seek the Lord while he may be found; call upon him while he is near; let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts; let him return to the Lord, that he may have compassion on him, and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon. Isaiah 55:6,7 ESV

I am somehow related to the composer of "Bibbity Bobbity Boo" the song from the Disney movie "Bednobs and Broomsticks".

I once flew in the same plane as William Shatner. As I flew I reflected on the fact that in my younger years I was a rabid trekkie and would have killed to have the chance to meet Captain Kirk. However it was obvious the man was dog tired and trying desperately to avoid being noticed. I just felt sorry for him and left him alone. (This was during his "obscurity" before the Priceline commercials and Boston Legal.)

A good friend of mine used to write the music for Mr. Goodbody, a character in the Captain Kangaroo show.

I have simplified my life by having only two kinds of socks which all match each other: black dress and white casual. In this way I have eliminated sock hell.

Most facts about me are so absolutely useless that I can't even think of any. Does anybody care? I didn't think so.

I can flare my nostrils on command.

Aaron Burr (yes, the one that shot Andrew Hamilton) is my great, great, great, great, great, great uncle (at least I think that's the correct number of greats).

Did the second fact occur after she observed the aptitudes listed in your first? It's tough to think of anything sweeter than a pink-eyed, tongue-whistling Texan.
